Where is Genghis Khan buried ?

Thought to contain not only the remains of the 13th century imperial ruler himself but artifacts and treasures from his conquests, expeditions from all over the world have traveled Mongolia in search of clues. Now a new project uniting scientists in America with scholars in Mongolia may have uncovered his final resting place indicated by the ruins of an ancient necropolis in a remote part of Western Mongolia.

Amongst the foundations of the 13th to 14th century structure the team have uncovered a number of artifacts and building materials, the location also matches perfectly with historical accounts of Khan's final resting place.
