The chances of being born on such a remarkable synchronicity of time and date are incredibly slim.
Kiam Moriya was seven weeks premature when he was born at a hospital in Bronxville, New York. The event however was marked with something a little extra special - an alignment of the date and time that puts his moment of birth at precisely 12 minutes past 12 on the 12th day of the 12th month. Even more remarkable is the fact that he was born in the year 2000 meaning that his 12th birthday also falls within the year 2012. "It's like one minute out of a whole lifetime," said Kiam. "You know, it's all 12s."

Because synchronous dates are so rare, some people have taken matters in to their own hands and arranged their own marriage to coincide with them. Brandon Pereira and Emilia D'Silva for example got engaged on 10/10/10, registered their marriage on 11/11/11 and became husband and wife on 12/12/12 at 12 o'clock in the afternoon.[!gad]Kiam Moriya was seven weeks premature when he was born at a hospital in Bronxville, New York.
