A fast food firm has become the first to send a sample of their cuisine in to orbit using a balloon.
The founders of Chosen Bun burger in Fulham, England, are no strangers to space-based publicity stunts having previously attempted to launch a sample of their produce in to orbit during an ill-fated attempt in June that failed due to a faulty camera.
Not content with leaving it at that however the pair returned again at the end of September with a second attempt to record footage of their finest consumables soaring high above the heavens.

This time fortunately things went according to plan with the adventurous foodstuffs reaching a height of 112,000ft above the planet's surface. The camera also worked without a hitch and captured the glorious spectacle of the burger and chips set against a background of the curvature of the Earth.

Very effective add. If there were chosen bun franchises in the states I'd be heading out the door for one. So I'm going to Blue Moon Burgers. Cya later and no, I'm not making that up

Do you think with the tax dollars they are collecting from us they could have at least gone to an Olive Garden or a Red Lobster?

I can see it now. McDonalds will become the world's first interstellar ambassadors.
