A man wearing a ridiculously life-like dinosaur costume managed to scare more than a few passers-by.
The hilarious stunt, which was pulled off by Australian radio hosts Hamish Blake and Andy Lee, saw their unsuspecting colleagues being chased through a car park by an eerily realistic Velociraptor.
It's not the first time that this particular type of dinosaur costume has been unleashed in a prank video however it remains so impressive that it is very easy to scare just about anyone with it.
The reactions, which can be seen in the footage below, are about typical of someone who has unexpectedly happened across a 7ft dinosaur inside a deserted, dimly lit car park.
Since this dinosaur prank thread has developed into a sober discussion about hand weapons and their usage... I'm from the Uk and its a place where your not allowed to own fire arms like you guys in the US. Can someone explain in layman's terms what the rules are in the US for owning such a weapon? Can you legally defend your home with a gun over there? Over here in the UK, if you attack a burglar your then charged with committing a crime too. It varies (widely) from state to state... But in general, you are allowed to defend yourself and your family ... Where it gets "murky" is in the area of ... [More]
It's a fake ass dinosaur costume and you people say you would shoot it.... You would probably kill a person because he dressed like an extinct animal. If you don't have enough judgement to recognize that dinosaurs are not still alive before you decide to shoot, then you should not have a gun. Which is why I said, if you had a momment, you would actually realize: Dinosuars aren't around anymore... But out of self defense or self safety, most people would miss - use their gun and just shoot... Which isn't the answer to that problem :-/

It varies (widely) from state to state... But in general, you are allowed to defend yourself and your family ... Where it gets "murky" is in the area of where you are allowed to do so, the nature of the threat and exactly how you respond... If it's pretty clear that you were legitimately in fear for your life (or your family's), and you don't go totally psycho (like chasing the perp down the street firing 10 or 20 shots, or after the perp is down, putting a round between their eys, etc) most prosecutors will hesitate to charge you with anything (unless the weapon was illegal, etc)... Where you... [More]
