Daredevil Luke Aikins has made history by jumping from 25,000ft in to a net without wearing a parachute.
The remarkable stunt took place yesterday in front of a crowd of onlookers as the veteran skydiver plummeted from a plane without any parachute, wingsuit or safety gear whatsoever.

The only thing standing between him and an untimely demise on the rocky desert floor was a large net which was around 20 stories high and half the size of a football field.
Much to the relief of everyone watching however Aikins nailed the jump and landed right on target.

The 42-year-old later described the experience as "awesome".
