A mysterious caped crusader has been spotted around the British capital doing various good deeds for random strangers.
Move over Gotham: London seems to have earned its own answer to Batman - an unidentified vigilante who has been prowling the streets attempting to wrong the rights of the UK's largest city.
Typically referred to locally as 'London's Batman' - this masked superhero has been celebrated for his various acts of kindness which range from paying for someone's petrol to filling potholes.
His escapades have been captured on camera, earning him quite a popular online following.
"I believe that anyone can be a hero," he told the BBC.
"I want to show the good in London. People are struggling and I want to help them."
Perhaps the biggest mystery surrounding this peculiar do-gooder is who he is under the mask.
Several possibilities have been presented, though none have been confirmed.
One of the most widely debated candidates is YouTube prankster Niko Omilana who, despite denying that he has anything to do with it, is still widely tipped to be the man responsible.
Some have also linked London's Batman to the satirical political candidate Count Binface.
Whether we will ever find out for sure who he is remains unclear.
