Video of giant chicken freaks out the Internet

Image: AI-generated (Midjourney) The clip, which was posted on Sunday morning, raised a few eyebrows on social media after Twitter user 'LifesBook_Ceo' noted how freakishly enormous the chicken in the video actually was.

It didn't take long for the footage to be shared thousands of times, with Internet users commenting in disbelief at the size of the bird and suggesting that it must be either a prank or a man in a costume.

As it turns out, the enormous bird is actually neither of those things - it is in fact a real animal known as a Brahma chicken. Females can weigh up to 14 pounds and males as much as 18 pounds.

Its eggs, which are highly prized during the wintertime, weigh upwards of 60g.
