Believe it or not, this is an actual physical object. Image Credit: YouTube / 48 Metro quadro
This incredible wireframe sculpture of a car looks more like computer graphics than it does a real physical object.
At a glance, you'd be forgiven for thinking that this wireframe car isn't even real, but in actual fact it is a genuine wireframe structure created by the talented folks over at Japanese metal processing company Yamaguchi Seisakusho.
According to the company's senior managing director Isao Yamaguchi, the car is one of five that was painstakingly put together for a car convention 10 years ago.
It seems that it had flown somewhat under the radar because it wasn't until much later that photographs of it went viral online.
To create the cars, engineers first designed the model using computer software, then cut out special metal jigs using precision laser cutters to act as a supporting framework.
The metal wires were placed inside, then the jigs removed to produce the final look.
