A shadowy figure has been blamed for setting off the siren of a Red Cross ambulance in Costa Rica.
The CCTV footage, which was filmed at the Auxiliary Committee of the Red Cross of Santa Rosa de Pocosol in Costa Rica's San Carlos district, recently went viral on social media.

It shows the ambulance bay outside the building with two vehicles parked up there.

Suddenly, the lights and siren on one of the vehicles start to blare for no apparent reason, prompting a confused looking worker to emerge from the building on the left to investigate.

Just as he arrives at the door, a strange shadow can be seen moving away from the vehicle on the right-hand side before disappearing off the side of the frame.
The clip has prompted speculation that some sort of ghost was responsible for setting off the siren.

In truth, however, it's quite difficult to actually make out the shadow figure and it is quite possible that the siren had come on due to some sort of electrical fault.

You can check out the clip for yourself below.

Could a ghost have been responsible ? You decide.
