Campers call cops after seeing '5ft creature with glowing eyes'

What exactly did the group encounter in the forest that evening ? Image Credit: Midjourney Something strange is lurking in the remote woodlands of Louisiana - that is, at least, according to a recent report posted up on Facebook by the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office.

The incident, which was reported at around 9:20pm on June 28th, saw deputies attend the scene of a 911 call from a group of high school graduates who claimed to have had an encounter with some sort of growling creature that was 5ft tall and had "glowing eyes".

"Deputies arrived on scene and began to walk towards the camp site looking for any suspicious activity or glowing eyes," the post reads. "Deputies then heard the group's whistle and located them unharmed."

"Deputies arrived at the camp site and successfully escorted the group out of the forest.""Deputies reported the disposition as unable to locate any suspicious activity involving a growl with glowing eyes and standing 5-feet tall."

So what did the group encounter in the woods that evening ?

In all likelihood, either they encountered a bear, or they had ingested a bit too much alcohol.

It's also possible that the entire 911 call was little more than a hoax.
