The drone footage appears to show something strange submerged in the water in one corner of the frame.
Spanning parts of New York State, Vermont and Quebec - Lake Champlain is home to an elusive cryptozoological enigma not dissimilar to that of Scotland's Loch Ness.
The legend is believed to date back to 1609 when Samuel de Champlain wrote an account of a serpent-like creature measuring 5 ft long with large teeth, a body as thick as a man's thigh and tough silver-grey scales that his blade could not penetrate.
These days, the lake remains a popular tourist destination and stories of the creature - nicknamed 'Champ' - have endured for decades.
Now, tantalizing new evidence has emerged in the form of drone footage that supposedly shows an unidentified creature lurking just beneath the surface of the water.
It was filmed during work on a new fictional movie entitled Lucy and the Lake Monster.
In the clip, there seems to be something in the water at the bottom-right of the frame, but is it actually a lake monster or could it be something else ?
Some have suggested that it could be some sort of large fish native to the lake or even a submerged rock sitting on the bottom.
OK, I see it now. It's non-distinct and blurry -- could be anything from a common fish species to discarded trash. I would give this footage a very low number on Jack Osbourne's woogie-boogie scale. ? I just joined this forum today. I like how it's the same format as the NFL forum on FootballsFuture.com. It must be designed by the same people. (Strangely, I'm Mr.UFO on FF too.)
Depending on how deep it is, could just be a mud cloud kicked up by a big fish. Could be a school of tiny fish also. Google search says there are yellow perch in Lake Champlain, and they're known to form boat sized schools. Color would be about right.
Its fun, i was a kid like 13 14 the gar eat anything they can get live of dead, their mouth is too hard boney to get hooked, you take about a foot of nylon rope, tie one end and fray out the rest sort of like a salt water teaser, then put any stinky dead gross juice on the fray use a wire leader and surf gear cast it over where the gar are swimming and after small fish they get angry hit that fray gets stuck in their teeth and you get to fight them, seldom got them in but fun to fight. How about shark fishing with rc boats?
