An upcoming Netflix documentary will delve into the case of a woman who was abducted in New York in the 1980s.
The strangeness began back on November 30th, 1989 when Linda Napolitano - a mother-of-two who lived in Manhattan at the time - claimed to have been visited by a 'grey biped' that had appeared in her bedroom in the early hours of the morning.

She then claimed to have been 'levitated' out of her window by a blue beam of light.

What makes the case particularly intriguing are the testimonies of multiple alleged witnesses, some of whom even claimed to have seen her hanging out of her window.
The mystery - described as the greatest alien abduction case ever recorded - is the subject of a new Netflix documentary entitled The Manhattan Alien Abduction.

In it, investigators look closer at the case, interview witnesses and attempt to piece together whether Napolitano really was abducted that night or if there could be an alternative explanation.

It will be available to watch on Netflix from October 30th.
