Unusual 'paranormal abuse' case in Spain involved psychic medium

The woman's ex-partner used paranormal activity to intimidate her. Image Credit: Pixabay / Tama66 In an unusual case out of Valencia, Spain this week, police had been investigating claims that a woman's former partner had resorted to what has been described as 'paranormal abuse'.

According to reports, the 41-year-old woman had been suffering at the hands of her ex-partner who went as far as to hire a psychic medium solely to frighten her.

In one incident, she witnessed a painting in her house levitating in the air above a table before falling back down, while in another, she heard distinct footsteps behind the wall and her ex-partner had claimed that he had experienced some sort of vision of her recently deceased father.

She was told that her father's ghost had warned that if she left her partner, she would die. The alleged phenomena also included objects being moved and a glass bust bursting into pieces.

The woman even returned home one day to find her house had been ransacked.

The case is quite unusual as it is not at all common to hear of someone using faked paranormal activity in order to harass and intimate someone, especially not in this context.

Fortunately for the woman, however, her ordeal came to an end when her ex-partner was arrested by the police for domestic violence and a restraining order was taken out forbidding him from going near her.
