The actor who plays one of the show's main characters encountered a potential real-life ghost in an old mansion.
Finn Wolfhard, who has played the role of Mike Wheeler in Netflix hit
Stranger Things since 2016, is certainly no stranger to acting in movies with supernatural elements.
Not only did he play a major role in the two latest
Ghostbusters movies, but he also starred as one of the main characters in the recent two-part adaptation of Stephen King's
'It'.
It was during filming for the latter that the 21-year-old would have his own real-life paranormal encounter.
"There was a time when I was a kid shooting
'It' in this abandoned mansion in Toronto, and me and a bunch of the other cast were exploring the floors," he told
People during a recent interview.
"We went up to the top floor and there was one room where we saw a guy in black just kind of doing electrician work, and we were just like, 'Okay, that's just a crew member.'"
"But then later, we found out that no one knew who that was, and no one ever saw him again..."
"It could have been someone just messing around, but, yeah, it was pretty scary."
Wolfhard will return to our screens in the final season of
Stranger Things in 2025.
