Political candidate wants to make Bigfoot the state animal of Idaho

A challenger in the upcoming battle for Idaho's District 16 state representative seat is pushing a rather unusual policy.
Enticing the electorate to vote for you is usually a case of outlining what improvements you are looking to make, what your political policies are and how you are a better candidate than your opponent.

For Republican challenger Chandler Stewart Hadraba, however, there is one particular issue in mind that would seem to be rather low on most people's priority lists.

Hadraba, who is running against incumbent Democrat Sonia Galaviz in the race for Idaho's District 16 state representative seat, wants to make the state the country's top destination for Bigfoot tourism.
"I really want to make Idaho number one for Bigfoot tourism," he said. "I think this is a creative way to have our rural communities and remote areas benefit more from tourism in such a great state."

Hadraba even wants to take things one step further by making Bigfoot the official state animal of Idaho and by introducing tags allowing the cryptozoological bipeds to be legally hunted.

All of this, he argues, will bring more tourism revenue to rural parts of the state.

While this is certainly a unique approach, it is unclear whether or not such a policy will sway voters.

And the Scotts having a unicorn as a national emblem, great. Some USAn state using a unicorn as a national emblem: NOT great. They should use Trump's mug instead. The face of their newest idiot president. The Scots just loved their ancient traditions. The USAns don't have ancient traditions. Yeah, the Native Americans had, but they were silenced ages ago.

Wilder's government won't last a year. And I don't know when you visited Amsterdam, but nowadays it's not so easy anymore to score dope as a tourist.

I know it won't. The Dutch are smarter than that.  The 1990s to see my sister's family was the last time I was there.
