Ex-NASA official claims to have seen a 'flying saucer' with USAF logo on it

Does the US Air Force have alien technology ? Image Credit: Northrop Grumman
A retired flight surgeon maintains that he saw a secretive saucer-shaped vehicle belonging to the US Air Force.
Dr. Gregory Rogers - a former NASA Chief Flight Surgeon and Air Force Major - has spoken out about something he had witnessed back in 1992 at Cape Canaveral, Florida.

At the time, he had been conducting an inspection when he was approached by an Air Force major who invited him to come and see something that he claimed would "knock his socks off".

Rogers was then taken to a room where he was shown a CCTV feed of something extraordinary - a saucer-shaped vehicle with the US Air Force logo clearly emblazoned upon it.

"I would estimate it was about 20 feet wide, probably 8 to 10 feet tall, and it had a shallow dome on top of it," he recalled. "There were no antennas, there were no flight control surfaces."

"Everything was very smooth and blended. I saw no rivets, no seams - nothing."

"Everything was white, but there was a vertical black rectangle at the three o'clock, the six o'clock, and the nine o'clock position on the upper half of the vehicle."
Without warning, the object began to move.

"All of a sudden it just lifted up, as smooth as could be," said Rogers.

"Once it got up maybe 3 feet above the concrete surface, it rotated completely around, clockwise, one revolution, then it revolved counterclockwise, one revolution."

Amazed by what he had witnessed, he turned to the Air Force major for an explanation.

"We got it from them," the major replied, pointing up at the sky.

Rogers never saw the craft again and to this day, remains adamant that what he saw was genuine.

So whoever controls the "first contact" experience is viewed as a God to some? But who would control first contact other than the parties involved?

I believe that any contact with intelligent alien life would be solely on their terms. ...and quite frankly, if I was on the team that actually discovered real evidence of alien life, or perhaps actually received intelligent signals, that could only be from extraterrestrial life, I would be inclined to keep it an absolute secret, and attempt to communicate with them.  My God, I cannot imagine releasing that information and having hordes of UFO crazies out there... religious zealots in every American city claiming the end of the world, having apocalypse cook outs outside the facilities, pre... Old news. The USAF tested the Canadian Avro-car back in the 1950s. https://www.extremetech.com/extreme/137505-us-air-forces-1950s-supersonic-flying-saucer-declassified Didn't work out as promised.

I once asked a mate of mine who works as a ROV pilot what's the weirdest thing he's seen underwater. Obviously expecting a story of some kind of sea creature instead what he told me was he came across a saucer shaped craft lying on the sea bed with USAF inscribed metal plates hastily welded to it. Next day government officials boarded them and confiscated/erased all recordings and they were instructed to move out of the area. Think he said it was off the coast of Brazil. This was like 25 years ago.

Do you think he was telling the truth?

Yeah. He had no reason to lie and the conversation was about animals. I also don't believe he had the imagination to come up with a story like that on the spot

An excellent and interesting question. It is both international law and industry standard to identify aircraft and parts. It's been like that since the mass production of aircraft and parts of aircraft started, primarily for safety reasons I would guess: Aircraft registration - Wikipedia

And if I may add... There are obvious instances where unmmarked, unidentifiable assest, tech and human, are used ((covert drones, CIA (for example) unbranded paramilitary operatives)) when needed in special cases, having little to no origin-identifiable anything (as possible) regardless of international "convention". Many countries have that nasty capability to some degree, of course.     Good catch. That's exactly the image that I thought of as soon as the Air Force logo was mentioned. Whether it's this or not, clearly they were developing the concept in general.
