Dr. Greer, who has long advocated for UFO disclosure, has described Vance's comments as 'reckless'.
Back in March, Vice President JD Vance told Benny Johnson on a podcast interview something that would go on to make headline news while leaving a lot of people scratching their heads.
The discussion had been about the UFO phenomenon and who (or what) might be behind it.
"I don't think they're aliens," Vance said.
"I think they're demons anyway, but that's a longer discussion."
"I mean every great world religion, including Christianity, the one that I believe in, has understood that there are weird things out there, and there are things that are very difficult to explain."
Now, in a new video, Dr Steven Greer - a well known figure on the UFO scene - has called out Vance over his remarks while suggesting that it is all part of a disinformation campaign.
Greer himself maintains that most of the UFOs spotted since the 1950s are the product of reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology.
In the video, he argued that framing aliens as "demons" is part of a "psychological operation" and that it could trigger panic, religious extremism or even some form of holy war.
Instead, he advocated for a scientific approach to the topic of disclosure, arguing that it would bring forth important new (reverse-engineered) technologies that could benefit humanity.
Greer's approach is certainly more favorable than Vance's - although it does seem to make a lot of assumptions about the nature of UFOs, the reality of alien visitation and the feasibility of using technology derived from reverse-engineered extraterrestrial vehicles.
What a joke. ? One says “extraterrestrial visitors" the other says "spiritual entities" but neither can demonstrate that there is anything there in the first place.
If your claim cant be tested, checked, or potentially proven wrong, then it isnt an explanation, its just a belief, which makes it completely valueless.
