More footage emerges of alleged 'alien' spheres near Buga, Colombia

What is this thing ? Image Credit: YouTube / treasures and secrets Something unusual has been appearing in the skies over Colombia's Buga region in recent months - but whether it's a genuine mystery or just an elaborate hoax remains up for debate.

The intrigue began earlier this year with the release of footage showing a strange metallic sphere. Soon after, reports surfaced claiming that the object had been recovered and was being studied by scientists

One of these - radiologist Dr Jose Luis Velazquez - maintained that the sphere exhibited no apparent welds or joints as would be expected if it were man-made.

"It is of artificial origin, in that it shows no evidence of welding, and its internal structure is composed of high-density elements," his team wrote. "More testing is needed to establish its origin."

Some reports suggest that the sphere's weight keeps mysteriously changing, while others refer to peculiar symbols on its surface which, according to an AI translation, read:"The origin of birth through union and energy in the cycle of transformation, meeting point of unity, expansion, and consciousness - individual consciousness."

Oddly, sightings of other metallic spheres that seem identical to this one have since continued to emerge from the area around Buga.

Videos of these objects, such as the one viewable below, also continue to appear.

So what exactly is going on ?

Could these spheres be some new type of drone-like flying device or are they genuinely a sign that someone from another world is trying to learn more about us ?

Then again, it's also possible that the entire thing is little more than an elaborate hoax.
