Sergeant James W Penniston allegedly received a telepathic message from the UFO more than 45 years ago.
The Rendlesham Forest UFO incident, which happened back in December 1980, saw US servicemen stationed at RAF Woodbridge in England witness a strange object over multiple nights.

Deputy base commander Lt Col Charles Halt and his men had gone out to investigate when the unidentified object was spotted descending into the nearby woods.

"Our security team observed a light that looked like a large eye, red in color, moving through the trees," Halt recalled.

"After a few minutes this object began dripping something that looked like molten metal. A short while later it broke into several smaller, white-colored objects which flew away in all directions."

Another of the men who went out to investigate the object that night - Sergeant James W Penniston - later published the contents of a telepathic message or 'code' that he claimed to have received upon touching it.

It consists of multiple numbers, words and co-ordinates.
The first part reads "Exploration of Humanity 666 8100", "Continuous For Planetary ADVAN?" and includes the co-ordinates 52.0942532N 13.131269W.

The next part of the message reads "Fourth Coordinate Continuout UQS CbPR BEFORE" before listing several co-ordinates: 16.763177N 89.117768W, 34.800272N 111.843567W, 29.977836N 31.131649E, 14.701505S 75.167043W, 36.256845N 117.100632E and 37.110195N 25.372281E.

It then ends with the message "Eyes of Your Eyes", the co-ordinates "Origin 52.0942532N 13.131269W" and finally "Origin Year 8100".

Exactly what any of this means remains unclear, as does the question of whether or not the message really was telepathically communicated to Penniston at the time of the incident.

Could there be some significance to these co-ordinates and numbers ?

Who sent them and why ?

As things stand, the answer to these questions remains unclear.

Yeah, everytime this story showed up we'd start spamming the topic with binary codes. I never heard there was some falling out with the site.  I heard he was a mod on another site.

Unsure if it's real but found my powerball numbers for tonight!

And just to mention the rest - the phrases "Continuous For Planetary ADVAN" and "Origin Year 8100" function purely as science fiction style decoration. They are meant to make the message sound futuristic, important, or mysterious without conveying anything concrete. Like something designed, using culturally loaded numbers and vague terms that fit perfectly with UFO mythology. Scifi fluff. ?

However you look at it, Peniston is a liar. Either he, and all his colleagues, lied about what happened at the time - and for years afterwards - or he is lying now.   Or, rather, he is being manipulated by those making money out of nothing  (bearing in mind the whole incident comprised of a bolide, a bloke driving in the forest, a house with light on,  a distant lighthouse and stars and planets occasionally appearing/disappearing in low cloud/fog, confusing some green townies.)

Yep. Strip away the folklore and its just confused observations dressed up decades later as something profound. As with most of these old UFO legends the story grows as time and incentives are added. UFOlogy in a nutshell.

"Beepy-dee-boop-boop" "Come on Artoo, let's go down to the planet and stretch our metal legs"

You are not alone in being skeptical. When a witness keeps revising his story while adding more extraordinary claims, the problem is not skeptics, it is credibility, consistency, and the complete absence of contemporaneous evidence. If you still support this tall tale, its only because you choose to believe.
