A woman from Nigeria has achieved a new Guinness World Record by counting out loud for several weeks straight.
Imagine doing nothing at all with your day except counting out loud on an Internet livestream - then relentlessly carrying on like that, day in, day out, for ten weeks...
This scenario became stark reality for Nigeria's Favour Ogechi Ani who decided to break the world record for counting aloud by filming herself counting for 14 hours a day.
Beginning at one, she aimed to exceed the previous world record of counting to one million.
For 70 days, her daily routine involved getting up, praying, eating breakfast, counting for seven hours, having her lunch, then counting her way through the rest of the day until bed.
In the end, she managed to count to 1,070,000 - earning herself an official world record.
The effort was particularly challenging, not least because of the amount of time involved but also because counting out loud for 14 hours a day would be enough to drive most people insane.
"Honestly, it was tough, but my passion for counting kept me going," she said.
"I had a lovely team supporting and cheering me up, and it was fun despite the challenges."
