Guinness World Records has officially confirmed the outrageous number of McDonald's burgers one man has eaten.
Most doctors and nutritionists would likely recommend against eating too many burgers, but that hasn't stopped Donald Gorske - a 71-year-old from Wisconsin who has eaten two Big Macs every day of his life since 1972.
He first earned the world record for most Big Macs eaten back in 1999 and has continued to maintain that record ever since.
It is believed that he has now eaten more than 35,000 of the burgers.
Bizarrely, he even tried collecting all the empty containers in his attic, but quickly ran out of space back in 2006 and now stacks them up to the ceiling in his basement.
One advantage of his strange diet is that he doesn't need to cook anything - he and his wife have a cooker in their house that looks practically brand new as it has barely been used in 50 years.
Incredibly, Gorske doesn't seem to have suffered any ill-effects either and maintains that he still has normal blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
Even so, he warns against anyone else attempting to beat his record.
"For somebody to want to do that, you're going to have to eat Big Macs for 50 years ... and you're going to have to really like Big Macs," he said.
"It's such an easy thing for me to do because I already do it every day."
TBF, unhealthy fast food is tasty! Doner kebabs, KFC, ribs, McDonalds! I've read that back in prehistory, salt, fat and sugar were hard to find but also necessary for our survival. So we are pre-programmed to gorge on those items if we find them. Unfortunately we now have them in abundance.
