JD Vance still obsessed with UFOs, claims aliens are 'demons'

Fast-forward 12 months, and it seems that his curiosity has only deepened since then.

"Trust me, anybody who's curious about this, I'm more curious than anybody, and I've got three years of the very tippy-top of the classification," he said this week on Benny Johnson's podcast.

"I'm going to get to the bottom of it."

This time, however, Vance did delve a little deeper into what he actually thought UFOs were.

"I don't think they're aliens, I think they're demons anyway, but that's a longer discussion," he said."I mean every great world religion, including Christianity, the one that I believe in, has understood that there are weird things out there, and there are things that are very difficult to explain."

On the topic of President Trump's promise to release the US government's files on UFOs, Vance remained adamant that he hadn't yet had the time to read them himself.

"I actually haven't [looked at the files]," he said.

"I have not been able to spend enough time on this, but I am going to."

"Trust me, I'm obsessed with this."
