Drops of 'water' appear on Mars lander struts

Globs of what appear to be water droplets photographed on the struts of the Phoenix Mars lander have generated significant interest in the debate over the presence of liquid water on Mars.

"Strange globs seen on the landing strut of the Phoenix Mars lander could be the first proof that modern Mars hosts liquid water, a new paper reports."
