Drivers in Colorado were perplexed on Monday morning by a road sign warning them about zombies.
It turned out that someone had tampered with the electronic sign by opening the back and replacing the existing message with one about a zombie invasion. The workmen who had left the control box for the sign unlocked were reprimanded following the incident.
"A highway sign warning of zombies has prompted CDOT to make sure all the electronic signs it uses are locked to prevent hacking."
