The BBC article also fails to mention that the PIG drainage area contains significantly less than one percent (1%) of the ice in Antarctica and with the exception of the Wilkins Ice Shelf, also relatively small, and other smaller WAIS glaciers, overall ice mass in Antarctica is holding steady. This is just another propaganda piece to promote warming hysteria.

The BBC article What does the BBC have to do with this? I think your initial premise is flawed, here.
