Museum moon rock is a fake

A piece of moon rock featured in the Dutch national museum that was supposedly retrieved from the moon by the Apollo astronauts and donated after the death of a former prime minister has turned out to be a piece of wood.
It's not green cheese, but it might as well be. The Dutch national museum said Thursday that one of its prized possessions, a rock supposedly brought back from the moon by U.S. astronauts, is just a piece of petrified wood.
