A painless new injection system has been developed in Japan that can deliver drugs to the body without breaking the skin.
The new vaccine "chip" could mean an end to the fear and discomfort of having an injection, it contains 300 micro needles that penetrate only half a centimetre before dissolving and administering the drug.
The fear of a visit to the doctor for an injection will soon be a thing of the past thanks to a painless new vaccine delivery system that has been perfected in Japan.

According to the article you don't even feel it, what great way to poison somebody. Just put the patch on them as you walk by, a few seconds later it dissolves without a trace and the person never feels a thing until suddenly they can't breathe anymore and by that time the poisoner is just another face in a crowd of people. Sorry, but someone had to bring it up. and a skilled assassin could easily pick their pockets while they do so.

junkies are going to love this news. Hey, lets hope the Japanese create some kind of painless denistry also

This sounds like a great idea no injection pain and no needle used. The day they have needle free denistry I will be there waiting.

I bet it worn't work for MS drugs. I give myself a shot three times a week.

Yes! I want one! Guess I'm not alone, but I have a severe phobia of needles and injections.

This is a good thing Indeed. I am wondering how far off the technology is from HypoSpray kind of thing. It can take blood and inject medication. Yes i'm thinking star trek, but if you look at some of the technology of the show there is a lot stuff that exists today....such as Nano technology, cell phones (Communicators) Even the advances in computers. Anyways I would rather take a shot from a hypo Spray instead of a needle.

. It’s pretty amazing really. Never have to get a vaccine shot again? You could get the flu vaccine like a regular Rx at the pharmacy, no waiting in line. No risk of infection.

My friend will be happy when he hears this

Although I would be happier if they came up with a painless way of taking blood...that's what I have a phobia of! Oooh no... I've had blood taken more times than I care to remember (none at all for nearly a year now though, woooo go me), and they didn't hurt nearly as much as the HPV vaccine. That stung like a B***H!
