University researchers have created networked robots to replace construction workers.
In an effort to take human error out of construction work University of Pennsylvania researchers are trying to create robots capable of building structures from houses to skyscrapers.
Imagine a future where massive, flying robots assemble complex structures like skyscrapers or houses, with all the machines working as one, coordinated through a wireless network and custom algorithm.

Something on that small a scale I have no problem with, but you're not going to find me walking too close to any skyscrapers getting built by these fellas and their friends for a while! Agreed! I can't imagine having one of those suddenly malfunction and fall on my head while walking by. LOL!

Or get hacked and basically cause havoc.

Or get hacked and basically cause havoc. Yeah,, basically any technology can be hacked and if its wireless then its a child's play . These things have very less precision when they are keeping the things or I should say that they just swing while trying to stay at a single spot, I mean there are some stability issues in these types of models and these things are indoor and if they are tried outdoors where there is uncertain wind blowing every time they would likely fail and if it wasn't for the magnets that thing would have failed, if they could build something up without the magnet then only ... I bet that wealth in the future is going to be measured by who owns the best and the brightest robots--and the more, the better. With intelligent machines, a person can do just about anything, even if they have no particular talent or brains themselves. The machines will do everything for them.

Interesting, seems more and more possible after every new robot I see that Terminator isn't just science fiction.

There are some things in this design tha can't work in a real building bolts have to be use to secure it and there is a wind factor and magnets could not be used because of the pull of the magnets. No building has ever use this type of design before. This could happen much more needs to done and the People designing this needs training in building design and construction of Highrise's

Yeah...I don't think robots building highrises will really be feasible until some kind of antigravity machine/harness/device is created. Even then it would still take a lot of time to work out all the issues.

Robots are the way of the future. Many people will be without jobs in the future. That is a promise. That concept would bring cyber terrorism to a whole new level.
