A woman in Everett tried to cut off her husband's head with a power saw while he was asleep in bed.
When police arrived on the scene they found the husband alive but covered in cuts and gouges. His wife claimed that she had picked up the power saw on the assumption that there was an intruder in the house, however no sign of a break-in could be found.
A woman has been accused of trying to saw her sleeping husband's head off with a power saw. Police were called to Hoyt Avenue in Everett, Washington, on Friday, and found the unnamed 36-year-old still alive but his head and neck covered in bloody cuts.

Trying to hack off your spouses head with a power tool is NOT domestic violence...it may have been a rather stupid attempt but it's still attempted murder..she could easily have hit a large vein and caused him to bleed to death. That said ,the woman is clearly deeply disturbed ,to do something like that at all..let alone with a child in the house ,to come up with such a feeble deffence and expect anyone to believe it .Hopefully there is a hospital for the criminally insane in her future

It is true that the courts are much more lenient with these women. Look up the BURNING BED on google In 1984 a women burned her husband to death by pouring gasoline on him while he was in bed. She was put on trial and the jury found her not guilty because of temporary insanity. It seems that if a women has a period she is not in her right mind and can get away with anything. If you guys are married, sleep with one eye open.

People are crazy. I wonder if she did it in God's name.. Like all the people that mutilate their babies. You got a point there. It used to be "The Devil made me do it..." now it's "I did it in God's name..." People are crazy!
