Man mistakes moon for UFO - calls police

The other day I called the fire department to report a blazing forest fire,but had to call back in embarrassment when I realized that it was only a ceiling fan.

should have got done for wasting police time saying that i bet that was the day i got mugged and it took police 45 mins to get there. probably standing there with this guy looking at the sodding moon trying to figure out what it is lol

The waxing crescent moon can be easily mistaken for a UFO? First a story on rising Jupiter on a hill mistaken for a "distress flare" and now this. We lost touch with nature around us, such as the night sky...our ancestors were able to see far into the Milky way without light pollution. Funny, the moon is now in Scorpio chasing the sun and you know, these two can't get along well in the same zodiac sign. To coincide with Halloween weekend and the combination date "11/11/11" are something to worry about.

LOL..this reminds me of the day I looked out of the window and saw a white sheet in the corner of my eye and my brain informed me it was a horse...didn't call the police though . Halloween and 11/11/11 are man made dates ,part of a man made system for mesuring time and about as artificial as you can get ,the moon (or any other planets) do not follow the gregorian callender ,they have no idea what the date is ,they don't care ,trust me on this...there is nothing to worry about ,well nothing more than usual anyway .
