Self-described prophet of God believes he's cracked the mysterious 'code' behind the Voynich Manuscript.
Finnish businessman and self-proclaimed prophet of God, Viekko Latvala, claims that the unusual characters are actually "sonic waves and vocal syllables". The manuscript allegedly contains not only descriptions of plants, astronomy and astrology but also prophecies. Latvala's business associate, Ari Ketola, claims that the message could be decoded only by someone with a "direct line to God" and that it is beyond the abilities of normal cryptographers.
Written in "alien" characters, illustrated with sketches, and dating back hundreds of years, the Voynich Manuscript has puzzled cryptographers, historians and bibliophiles for centuries.
