Japanese researchers have come up with a gun that forces anyone that it is used on in to silence.
The device is based on the concept of delayed auditory feedback, when it is used on someone it will replay what they are saying back to them but with a tiny 0.2 second delay - this response offset is enough to completely confuse the brain and renders the individual unable to continue speaking.
Ever since humans first invented guns, they've been inventing new uses for them. Some shoot bullets; others shoot lasers. But a strange and unsettling new gun being developed by Japanese researchers shoots sound waves in an effort to disrupt and silence anyone who dares speak out of turn.
