It's not every day that a fish falls from the sky. Image Credit: US Army Corps of Engineers
A Philadelphia woman had been out walking when a large fish suddenly fell out of the sky on top of her.
Lisa Lobree had been on her way to an exercise class on Labor Day morning when, upon hearing a rustling in the trees above, she looked up only to have a large fish fall down and hit her in the face.
"I was like, 'What!?' I was freaking out," she said. "I think it might have been head, face, and neck because I smelled so bad afterwards. I smelled disgusting."
Fortunately the catfish, which was around one foot in length, caused only minor injuries.
"It was a not a fun experience," said Lobree. "But there are so many worse things that could've happened. It's probably one of the strangest things that have happened to me in my life."
The fish was thrown by god hitting her in the face. She must not have favor ith the Lord... I wouldn't worry unless lighting bolts are also tossed at her.
Oh through a tree, lucky break, could have been hurt and not just a lovely aroma. Tree, well if not for an area with trees, say like in the big city, I was going to mention did anyone look up on the roofs and see two brats falling all over themselves laughing hysterically? Well good thing she's alright , just goes to show even if things seems a little fishy it can always turn out well, *groaning sounds*.
Saw an Osprey eating a fish today about fifty feet off the ground in a dead pine tree, right next to a busy road and sidewalk. Probably having a fish (or bits of fish) fall on you where Osprey and Eagles live is more common than is reported. I used to find them in my mom's flower bed, under a very tall pine tree, just never got nailed.
