BFRO investigates Bigfoot sighting near Centralia, Washington

While the jury is certainly out on whether or not this elusive cryptozoological enigma actually exists, there are many thousands of people who believe that they have witnessed the creature first-hand.

One such witness recently reported their sighting, which took place north of Centralia, Washington on February 4th, to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO).

According to the report, the man had been riding his motorcycle alongside his friend and his son when they spotted some sort of large hominid-like creature running along the top of a ridge half a mile away.

"It was very large and human-shaped," he wrote. "There was one color, tan/brown, moving across very rugged terrain, making a bee line for the tree line."

"It moved so fluently with little arm movement, unlike a human running."

"It easily was 10 feet tall for us to be able to see it from so far away."

All in all, the sighting lasted around 30 seconds.According to BFRO Investigator Scott Taylor, the sighting was likely to be the real deal.

"Based on the description of the way this creature walked and its speed across the terrain, I believe that these three witnesses were fortunate to see a sasquatch," he wrote.

So did the trio actually see a real-life Bigfoot or could it have been a case of mistaken identity ?

Update:

After this report came out, a cross country runner from Rochester High School e-mailed a local news outlet to claim that it was in fact him that was seen running along the ridge that day.

The reason the 'creature' looked so big was because he was running side by side with someone else.

He even had a GPS Garmin device that corroborates that he was at that location at that time.

Looks like this is one mystery that we can safely consider solved.
