The modern reboot of the iconic TV series is returning with another set of episodes on Netflix later this month.
Fans of the rebooted series, which made its way to our screens back in 2020 courtesy of streaming giant Netflix, will be pleased to hear that there is a fourth season (or volume) coming very soon.
A trailer of "volume 4" (see below) has now dropped, teasing five new mysteries.
The original run of Unsolved Mysteries spanned a whole 14 seasons between 1987 and 2010 and is best remembered for its host Robert Stack (who sadly died in 2003) as well as its re-enactments of various mysteries, unexplained phenomena and unsolved criminal cases.
While the recent Netflix revival mostly did away with the re-enactments, its eerie and suspenseful exploration of unsolved cases and paranormal events proved a major hit with viewers, ranking number one in the US on the streaming service mere hours after its debut back in July 2020.
At first glance, it looks like the fourth volume will not disappoint.
"This is our most unique volume yet," said co-creator and executive producer Terry Dunn Meurer.
"From one of the most notorious unsolved cases of all time to all-new baffling mysteries, there's something for everyone to solve."
The new volume will be available to stream on Netflix from July 31st.
"Unsolved Mysteries continues to resonate with viewers in ways we could never have imagined, with some episodes leading to solving cases that were once thought unsolvable," said executive producer Shawn Levy.
"It is a privilege to collaborate with Terry Dunn Meurer and her team on this iconic franchise, and we are so excited to share this next installment of compelling and fascinating mysteries with viewers around the world."
