This highly questionable photograph of an alleged juvenile Bigfoot has been met with considerable skepticism.
Sometimes a photograph comes along that, despite being quite clear, seems so patently ridiculous and unlikely to be real that it is very difficult to actually take it seriously.

The above image, which was reportedly captured by 'Bigfoot spotter' Stephanie Wood somewhere in North America, is one such example.

While the subject of the photograph is certainly easy enough to make out, there's no getting away from the fact that the supposed Bigfoot looks a lot like a child in a costume.

"We know what your'e thinking. It's Chaka from Land Of The Lost," Wood wrote on Facebook.

"Our gut reaction to this photo is that it's probably a short person in a costume, maybe a kid, right? But after analyzing it for a while, we're not so sure anymore."
"Could this be a baby Sasquatch or one of those hairy little people that pop up in reports every now and then, which are described as 'squatchlets'? One thing we know for sure is that the truth is truly stranger than fiction in more cases than not. Chaka or a Squatchlet? You decide."

Unsurprisingly, the image - which has since been picked up by various news outlets - has been met with a considerable degree of skepticism with most users dismissing it as a hoax.

It's not even particularly clear that the image was actually captured recently.

What do you think it shows ?

This must be the Minnesota Iceman from the 1960 and early 1970's. He finally thawed.

I think it is fascinating. Yes, I know it was a hoax, but still it is a one of the well known hoaxes of all times. What it looked like? Was it frozen ln the box? Have you seen it's head? If I recall it correctly the story was that the first it was a real 'creature' in th box, but a some time later they changed it to the rubber doll and placed it in the box. They showed it around the central USA like a some attraction.  But, what was it really? Just a crazy hoax, or? Who knows, maybe it inspired Patterson Gimlin hoax somehow.

It was in a glass top freezer and definitely a hoax. You could barely make out details in the ice though.

Barnum wouldn't have cared for it.

Nope, I just read a lot of folklore.  Your issue is with the folklore.
