What was in the sky that night ? Image Credit: Bing AI / Dall-E 3 There was something strange in the skies near Kokomo, Indiana on October 7th - prompting concerns of a possible aerial incursion over the nearby Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base.

Puzzled residents of the town grabbed their phones and cameras and started filming as several brightly lit, unidentified objects appeared in the night sky.

"What is that ?" asked one user.

"I think those are UFOs and I really don't feel comfortable going to sleep tonight."

The mystery deepened further still when reports emerged of a 'huge rectangle' with a 'clearly defined vapor shock wave' that had been picked up on doppler weather radar at around the same time.So what exactly was going on ?

While some believe that the phenomenon was evidence of alien visitors, skeptics argue that the lights in the sky were flares that had been deployed as part of some sort of military exercise.

But what about the large rectangular object ?

Without further data, it's difficult to say for sure what it could have been.
