Trump's move to declassify UFO files could expose decades-long cover-up

Former MoD UFO investigator Nick Pope has commented on what might come to light in the near future.
With Trump's administration moving to declassify secretive files pertaining to a number of topics including the UFO phenomenon, the question has been raised as to what exactly we are likely to discover within the coming months as long-held secrets are disclosed to the public.

According to Nick Pope - who once investigated UFOs for the UK's Ministry of Defence - one thing we could see is the exposing of an extensive cover-up spanning several decades.

"The government for decades has investigated UFOs. I think it's undeniable that the government has looked at this for decades," he recently told Fox News Digital.

"A lot of people believe that there is a smoking gun somewhere in the files."
"It is a very widely held belief that elements in the U.S. intelligence community know that some of this is extraterrestrial and have documents and files relating to this."

"And that, of course, is what everyone really wants to know."

Pope also remarked on the question of whether UFOs pose a threat to national security.

"It's definitely a threat or a potential threat, particularly because the pilots, the radar operators, the intelligence community personnel who've looked at some of these cases consistently say that these things are displaying speeds, maneuvers and accelerations that make the best of our aircraft look like kids' toys," he said.

"So, an adversary has made a quantum leap, in which case the United States needs to know about that and close the gap pretty darn quickly. Or is there something else in our skies?"

I have been lost in my thoughts many times, pondering two things: 1. Why the government refuses to disclose to the people just who or what these entities are. 2. Why the entities themselves refuse to disclose directly to the people just who or what they themselves are And I think the singular reason is, we citizens are not at all going to like what we learn.

Or... 1. These "entities" are a figment of peoples imagination.

As always since a long time useless comments from Nick Pope (that was not always the case)...maybe or maybe not...we are surely progressing quickly here... The only part i agree on is that we dont know what it is, and the only part i disagree on is that it presents a threat (so far to my knowledge none has been accounted)

If aliens are visiting Earth then the one thing we know with absolute certainty is that they are not a threat to us.   If they were they'd have eaten, destroyed or enslaved us decades ago       We, however, clearly are a threat to them - the USAF always shoot first .....    Hence, I am 99% certain that if aliens are visiting Earth (and I have seen no evidence they are, but, if .... ) then we are considered extremely dangerous, irrational, of very low intelligence and not to be approached.    A bit like the North Sentinelese, but far more primitive and unpredictable.

I dont believe for a second that any of these UFOs (through out history) are ET in origin. I believe there is a mundane explanation for each and every one of them.   Id be happy to be proven wrong though.

Indeed.  One would be wrong if ET visitation were demonstrated, but not wrong to be skeptical of the evidence so far.

Amen. One of these days... right? ?

If the worst case scenario “treaty of Grenada” (US gov allowing abduction and experimentation in exchange for tech) turned out to be true, there’d be a total loss of support for any government.

I dont think we have to worry about that.
