The Welsh actor recently described an experience that he recalled from when he was a young boy in Wales.
Speaking during an appearance on the Scarred For Life podcast, Sheen - who grew up in the Welsh coastal town of Port Talbot in the 1970s, had a memorable encounter with a UFO while walking home from school one day at the age of 12.

"I was about to turn to go up the drive to my house, to my right was the edge of the mountain... and just as I turned, I saw something come along the edge of the mountain off in the distance," he recalled.

"So I stopped and then this light came out, and then two lights behind it, and then three lights behind it - a sort of phalanx of lights coming from behind the mountain and floating out over the sea."

"And as I'm standing there I'm thinking, 'I think those are UFOs'."

"I'm fairly certain those are UFOs'. I thought I have to go into the house and tell my family that there are UFOs out here...but I knew that if I went in, they might disappear."
"So I just stood there, transfixed, and I watched them come all out over the ocean and then they stopped. And then they all disappeared."

Sheen has spoken about UFO sightings over Port Talbot before, with both his neighbor and his father reporting their own encounters with strange objects in the skies over the town.

"[My father] saw something in the sky above Port Talbot that wasn't just a light," he said.

"At first he thought it was fireworks - it was pulsating lights floating and he thought, 'I'm seeing something extraordinary and obviously this will be on the news tomorrow and people will be talking about it', and nobody did."

"I have since heard that people have seen things in Port Talbot so I think there's something going on there."

"Im seeing something extraordinary and obviously this will be on the news tomorrow and people will be talking about it, and nobody did." Im guessing the reason for the silence was that if there were other witnesses they simply knew what it was... ie something mundane.

Earth Lights from the mining industry maybe?

possibly the nearby steelworks may be the culprit, when it was in it,s hay day some decades ago, the sky would lit up with strange lights due to the blast  furnaces.

Beautiful story. Stories like that in a person's life are rare and to be treasured. The memory will last a lifetime and it never grows old I wish I had more myself.
