Viral CCTV footage shows the moment a factory robot suddenly freaks out and starts flailing around madly.
Humanoid robots will undoubtedly become commonplace in the not-too-distant future, especially given the recent advances we've seen in artificial intelligence and robotics.

Not everyone, however, is too thrilled with the idea of sharing the world with these walking automatons and this recent viral clip, which shows CCTV footage recorded at a factory in China, demonstrates why.

It shows two men working to activate a humanoid robot hanging next to them when, all of a sudden, the contraption completely freaks out and starts flailing its arms wildly all over the place.
The men can be seen struggling to get the machine back under control as it continues its epic tantrum.

News outlets have since reported that this is a Unitree H1 robot - a type of full-size, bipedal humanoid robot capable of walking around untethered and completing various tasks.

It's not clear what exactly went wrong with this particular unit, but the robot's antics haven't helped to ease concerns about what it might be like to live and work alongside such machines.

You can check out the footage for yourself below.
