Man spots Bigfoot-like creature wading across river in Oklahoma

Image: AI-generated (Midjourney) In a recent sighting submission to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, 62-year-old Jeff Power described an encounter with something unexplained at 8:15am on the morning of August 4th.

He had been heading to work and had been driving on the bridge over the Canadian River when he spotted a large, dark shape wading through the water around knee-deep.

The creature was at a distance of 80-120 yards and was heading for the northern bank.

He noted that it was walking on two legs, but was otherwise unable to make out any details.Keen to get another look at the creature, he turned his vehicle around and drove back but by the time he'd reached the river, it was nowhere to be seen.

He later clarified that the beast had been "huge" and was "wider than a 50 gallon drum".

As a veteran deer hunter, Power is certainly no stranger to identifying wildlife and whatever this was, it was nothing he had ever seen before.

As things stand, exactly what it was he saw that day continues to remain a complete mystery.
