It looks as though Santa may be a little delayed in setting out to deliver everyone's presents this evening.
Every child has wondered, at some point or other, exactly how Santa Claus manages to deliver presents to all the kids across the world within the space of a single night.

Now cops in Ohio might have the answer - and it's definitely not what you were expecting.

Bodycam footage shows the moment a man dressed in a full Santa Claus costume - who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Claus - was pulled over for speeding in Fulton County this week.

Fortunately, the cop saw the funny side when he realized who was in the vehicle.
As luck would have it, Santa was allowed to go on his way.

"Ho ho *hold on!* Santa and Mrs. Claus were spotted flying a little too fast through Fulton County," the department wrote on its Facebook page.

"No coal was issued - just a friendly reminder that even sleighs need to slow down. Christmas is still on schedule!"

"Stay safe and happy holidays!"

You can check out the bodycam footage captured during the incident below.
