The long-awaited release of the US government's secretive files on the UFO phenomena is actually happening.
After months of teasing the release of the files, the Pentagon has today uploaded what is believed to be the first batch of many such documents onto the Department of War's website.

The files, which appear to have been sourced from multiple government agencies, are primarily in the format of .PDF files and can be browsed and downloaded at https://www.war.gov/UFO/.

Additional batches of files will reportedly be added to the site over the coming months.

"The American people can now access the federal government's declassified UAP files instantly," the Pentagon wrote in a press release.
"The latest UAP videos, photos, and original source documents from across the entire United States government are all in one place - no clearance required."

There is already a lot to go through, but reports indicate that the first batch of documents includes details of some previously undisclosed UFO sightings reported during the Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 missions to the Moon.

There are also numerous UAP reports concerning encounters over multiple different countries.

Whether the files contain anything particularly conclusive remains to be seen, but no doubt we'll be hearing a lot more about what's in there over the coming weeks as news agencies and UFO researchers get the chance to sift through everything that's there.

I believe you saw a "ufo". People see things in the sky that are "unidentified" (to them) all the time. I saw a couple with a friend in the 60's that still have me baffled. It's the claim they must be alien craft that I think gets people going. Though for myself I don't doubt there will be a rational explanation, even if it escapes me and I have no reason to think aliens. I realise I can be fooled with perception and mistaken about lots of things. I have no idea what you saw though, so can't really comment.

That does in no way make you special. People see things in the sky they fail to identify all the time. That is literally what a UFO is... something unidentified. The silly leap happens when people go from "I saw something strange" to "therefore it must be something extraordinary" and then become so emotionally attached to that conclusion that they refuse to let go no matter how weak the evidence is... if any at all.   How is anyone supposed to know what you really saw when you yourself dont know?  That is the entire point. Unidentified means exactly that, it carries no built in explanation o... [More]

LOL. I have read every single NDE and other types of experiences on NDERF, many of them twice, over the last ten years or ao. I prefer it over IANDS.  The questionnaire is very useful.  The number of NDE posted there has decreased over the past few years probably due to various site on Facebook. .  It’s too bad. It’s a great resource and everyone who has one should post it there first.   I also have a special file of my favorites!  I’m happy to know that you know of that site.  The scientists, so called, research all kinds of nonsense; like mice grooming themselves, but they won’... With roughly 8 BILLION (8,000,000,000) cell phones in use around the world you would think there would be more than blurry pics of supposed alien/extra dimensional/demonic or whatever the name du jour crafts out there (this also covers several other categories under 'paranormal' heading).  Funny thing is it seems there were more photographs of better quality BEFORE cell phones existed (not that fact supports alienz visiting earth). That among many other reasons should give ample doubt to beings visiting from another world. JMO as always.

this is very true, H0rta. And I too, don't know what I saw, also. But I think under the circumstances, it was not human tech.  good posting, H0rta

I have a high end Samsung phone and can't even take a good pic of the moon never mind a fast moving object. Even wildlife photo's at night look like nightmares. You seem to think that anyone with a phone is an expert at photography. Try taking a pic of Elon's string of pearls with your phone then post it here to show us how it's done. Or the space station for that matter.

Thanks Festina. What interests me with NDERF is the comminalities(sp) in most of the experiences. Bright warm light, tunnel, overwhelming love, and a host of other things they have in common. I spent over two years delving into near death experiences extensively and to me it seems like the only thing that makes sense. Now I'm going to get roasted for posting this. Lol.
