Image Credit: CC BY-SA 3.0 Emmanuel Boutet Last winter I experienced the first strange occurrence. It had snowed and I shoveled off the walkway leading up to my porch. Later, I checked to see if I needed to do it again, and saw footprints leading up the walkway to my porch, but there were none leaving. I looked for any prints at all, all around. There were none.

A few months later, while in bed, I felt a finger poke me. I was too scared to look. I was poked again. No doubt in my mind, I was poked. When I did look, there was nothing there. Recently, I took care of my daughter's dog for a weekend and when I tried to get him to come into my bedroom to sleep, he stood at the doorway and growled twice. He is not that kind of dog at all, but I didn't think much of it, since he was away from his home.About a week ago, I got up around 4am to go to the bathroom, which is through the kitchen and off the back door entrance area. As I rounded the corner towards the bathroom, I clearly saw and walked through a grey ghostly figure, that moved, as if surprised that I was suddenly there. When I turned behind me to look, nothing was there. I saw it so clearly, there is no doubt in my mind that I had seen a ghost.

A few days later, while watching TV in my living room, I felt a very cold rush of air come from the front entry across my legs. No windows were open. I went to check if the front door was opened, or some source, and all was fine. I now feel scared at night. I have lived in this house for many, many years, raised a family, and nothing has ever happened like this. Now, I have a ghost. Are they really real? Well, I believe they do.
