World's first shark sanctuary in Pacific

The Pacific nation of Palau has set up the world's first shark sanctuary to help protect species from extinction. The sanctuary contains over 130 species and covers an area that extends up to 200 miles from the coastline.
The world's first shark sanctuary is being created by the tiny Pacific nation of Palau to protect Great Hammerheads, Leopard Sharks, Oceanic Whitetip Sharks and more than 130 other species fighting extinction in the Pacific Ocean.
