Is there fish-size life on Europa ?

This would not surprise me at all, There are plenty of scientists working on how to penetrate thru the thick ice and explore under it, Im sure man will finally get it done but its not going to happen in our generation, I don't know about that . but one thing will be biggest issue is how to make sure the driller work without stuck / halt in middle . here we are talking drilling miles of thick ice . the machine may stuck by rock (if unlucky) or crystal or freeze due to too cool . the easiest way is to send out a nuke to take care of the ice then drop the machine . not a good idea but sure will w... It bothers the heck out of me that we are only looking for extraterrestrial life that looks terrestrial. Why the heck are we looking for a danged Star Trek alien that looks like a damned human with a prosthetic on their nose... or a freaky looking FISH? Why not actually look for something ALIEN?

Actually, life as we know it, in all its complexity and variety, has only ever been found on Earth, so we look for signals, or some chemistry that corresponds to our understanding of living things. What else could we look for? Anything that we find will, by definition, be alien.
