Is there fish-size life on Europa ?

For years astrobiologists have speculated over the possibility that life could exist right now under the frozen crust of Jupiter's moon Europa, if this is the case how evolved could this life be - could there be "fish" living there ?

In the oceans of a moon hundreds of millions of miles from the sun, something fishy may be alive—right now. Below its icy crust Jupiter's moon Europa is believed to host a global ocean up to a hundred miles (160 kilometers) deep, with no land to speak of at the surface.

My word, is that going to happen next year? If only ACC (and similar visionaries) had been in charge of allocating the budget for space exploration, rather than the politicians being in charge; maybe then it would have.

It bothers the heck out of me that we are only looking for extraterrestrial life that looks terrestrial. Why the heck are we looking for a danged Star Trek alien that looks like a damned human with a prosthetic on their nose... or a freaky looking FISH? Why not actually look for something ALIEN? ...

Actually, life as we know it, in all its complexity and variety, has only ever been found on Earth, so we look for signals, or some chemistry that corresponds to our understanding of living things. What else could we look for? Anything that we find will, by definition, be alien.
