In a peculiar set of events a duck hunter was accidentally shot by his dog during a hunting trip in California.

The man had been picking up duck decoys when his labrador retriever accidentally stepped on the loaded shotgun that he had left sitting on the ground, luckily the shot didn't cause too serious an injury.

"A duck hunter is recovering after he was accidentally shot by his Labrador retriever over the weekend."
