The last ever space shuttle launch is likely to be delayed due to rain and thunderstorms in Florida.

The launch will mark the end of an era for NASA's space shuttle program, Atlantis will be the last shuttle flight. The launch may go ahead over the weekend if the weather permits however July 16th is looking like a stronger possibility.

"The shuttle is due to blast off from the Kennedy Space Centre at around 16."

yea, today is supposed to be extremely stormy. Yesterday was pretty bad. The weather at the launch site is only part of the problem. NASA has to make sure of the weather in many other places in case of an emergency Here... http://wiki.answers....e_landing_sites
