Newly released UFO documents in the UK have revealed some rather unusual stories and reports.

Among the files released by the National Archives are genuine reports of UFOs from members of the public. In one case, a man in Cardiff claimed that his tent, his car and even his dog had all been abducted by a UFO while he out camping with friends. In another, a woman in Dorset reported a bright white fireball that she said had entered her kitchen and produced lightning, however no traces of burns in the room were ever found.

Not all the reports pertained to recent sightings either, in one case a man reported having witnessed a "large saucer shaped object" during World War II. The mysterious object was said to have hovered over Barking Station before speeding off towards Dagenham.

"Previously confidential documents released by the National Archive contain hundreds of reports of UFO sightings from the public recorded by the Ministry of Defence's "UFO desk"."

if the disclosure was bs wouldn't the gov do its duty and impeach Senator Gravel and the rest for attempting to raise panic? Falsely accusing the gov? Wouldn't the Canadian government have ANYTHING to say to its former minister of defence? The British MoD to Pope? I see no reaction. Not a word. As if they were trying not to give it any more publicity. As if they had something to fear. And what happened after the disclosure hearing? The Bilderberg group have a meeting. I wonder what about. I'm sure alien tech disclosed and a resulting unlimited free energy world would not affect their place in ... [More]

if the disclosure was bs wouldn't the gov do its duty and impeach Senator Gravel and the rest for attempting to raise panic? Why would they if there is nothing to it? No need as I see it, really. Falsely accusing the gov? Wouldn't the Canadian government have ANYTHING to say to its former minister of defence? Why should they? He pretty much discredits himself quite thoroughly. The Canadian Government doesn't have to do anything in that respect except to lean back and enjoy the show. The British MoD to Pope? I see no reaction. Not a word. Same story. Poor old Pope is a joke. He was a desk jocke... [More]

Why would they[…]nothing to it[…]Why should they[…]Same story[…]Seriously, I doubt[…]nothing to give publicity about[…]Simple as that[…]Get a grip[…]look at some real science[…]fantasy stuff[…]bunch of nonsense[…]typical[…]simply incorrect[…]ridiculous[…]stoop to that level[…]do a little thinking… Well, you've certainly got the talking points down. Are you compensated or do you do that for free? Also...what, exactly, are you disputing?

Well, you've certainly got the talking points down. Are you compensated or do you do that for free? Also...what, exactly, are you disputing? First of all, welcome to UM. Secondly, glad that you like my talking points, you did an excellent job of outlining them. Too bad you missed the parts in between on why I feel said talking points are valid. Maybe we can discuss that before we get into the discussion on whether I am paid or not. Cheers, Badeskov Edited to add: I dispute disclosure.

I think it's time to review UM rules: 5f. Balanced debate: Do not make posts forbidding opposing viewpoints or make derogatory personal observations designed to dismiss or belittle another member's opinion ( such as accusing them of being mentally ill or being paid to post. ) All sides of a debate should be represented.

I think, with respect, your attention needs to be drawn to rule '5i'! Sorry but I couldn't resist it!

Hello Bad, hope life's treating you well! Same story. Poor old Pope is a joke. He was a desk jockey shuffling papers. What do you base that on?
