Work has started at the construction site in New Mexico of the world's first ever commercial spaceport. "Spaceport America" is expected to be completed within 18 months and be home to Virgin Galactic's new space tourism services.
Ground has been broken on the construction site of Spaceport America, the world's first purpose-built commercial spaceport. Those behind the project say that it will help provide a new chapter in space exploration. When finished in 18 months' time, the facility will house Virgin Galactic's space tourism business and other firms working in the commercial space arena. "

it won' work in long run unless they can find solution for cheaper cost. at first you will see alot people wanting to take the ride . most people with that kind of money will want take the ride at least once in life time . but not for second time if it cost so much .

The More people they can take up in one trip the less it will cost per flight. So hopefully they have a large cargo area.

The More people they can take up in one trip the less it will cost per flight. So hopefully they have a large cargo area. They wont have a lot of extra room because they need three fat people to sit in back on the way up, then they move to the nose of the ship to come back. This saves on fuel.

it won' work in long run unless they can find solution for cheaper cost. they will of course lower the costs when all of those, capable of paying the large sum, will have had their ride...
